Bidisha calls her local shelters her second home. She volunteers hundreds of hours in taking care of sick animals and socializing feral or scared animals brought to the shelter. She also fosters round the year. Currently she is a Conservation Education intern at the oldest zoo in the US and just finished an animal behavior project on Meerkats in captivity.
