Trinamool Congress lawmaker Sabyasachi Dutta is at it again. After being warned by his party for repeatedly meeting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on the sly and openly, Dutta on Monday invited the BJP’s Bengal chief Dilip Ghosh to attend a Ganesh Puja in his club. Dutta has been meeting BJP leader Mukul Roy several times despite warnings from his party.
Later, Dilip Ghosh said that he had been invited by the club authorities and would also attend similar invitations if called by other Trinamool leaders.
Sabyasachi Dutta said that the Ganesh Puja had been organised by his club and the club authorities had invited Ghosh. When pointed out that he was the president of the club and a Trinamool Congress MLA, Dutta said that there was no link between the club and any political party.
