The eighth and final phase of election is under way in West Bengal today. Elections are on in 35 seats in four districts – in parts of Malda, Kolkata North, Murshidabad and all seats of Birbhum.
The seats where polling is on today are Manikchak, Maldaha, English Bazar, Mothabari, Sujapur, Baisnabnagar, Khargram, Burwan, Kandi, Bharatpur, Rejinagar, Beldanga, Baharampur, Hariharpara, Nowda, Domkal, Jalangi, Chowringhee, Entally, Beleghata, Jorasanko, Shyampukur, Maniktala, Kashipur-Belgachhia, Dubrajpur, Suri, Bolpur, Nanoor, Labpur, Sainthia, Mayureswar, Rampurhat, Hansan, Nalhati and Murarai.
Election has been scheduled in Bengal in eight phases that started on March 27 and concludes today. Results are out on May 2.
