More such camps will be organised in future, said founder Suparna Dasgupta Roy.
Kolkata-based “Procheshtha” recently organised a geriatric mental wellness camp in the city.
Attended by nearly a hundred senior citizens, it was a free camp for the elderly to inspire them to remain stress free and positive.
Eminent psychiatrists and psychologists addressed the gathering along with music and poetry recitation. Founder of Procheshtha, Suparna Dasgupta Roy said, “It’s never too late to make a difference to society – initiate action, encourage others, instil confidence and try to empower.” She said that she and her team of volunteers will continue organising more such camps in future.
Singer Riddhi Bandyopadhyay and Aditi Gupta were felicitated at the event along with social entrepreneur Sonchita Banerjea Das and many others.
