The city’s minimum temperature might drop by a degree from Wednesday according to weather experts. The northwesterly wind hasn’t yet become cool enough and thus the chill isn’t being carried from India’s northwest to the eastern part of the country.
As a result of this, the city is yet to experience a wintry effect. Therefore, there won’t be any significant change in the weather conditions this week, though the rain in Jammu & Kashmir will have a minor impact by reducing the temperature slightly.
Last week, the temperature drop was significant due to the snowfall in Kashmir, but it didn’t last longer and the impact has thus been felt in Kolkata as well.
