With Mukul Roy and his son Subhrangshu set to “re-join” Trinamool Congress from the Bharatiya Janata Party, leaders of the BJP today said that it is his “personal decision”.
Dilip Ghosh, the chief of the party’s Bengal unit, said that if anyone wants to leave the party, it is that person’s “problem” and not the “problem” of the party. “If it is question of adjustment, it is the issue of the person in question, not a matter of the party,” Ghosh said.
Another BJP leader, Babul Supriyo, said that “it is his personal decision” to leave the BJP and join the Trinamool Congress again. “The BJP is a big party. If someone wants to leave, it is his personal decision,” Supriyo said.
