Being part of the Trinamool Congress, that too as a lawmaker and making such a statement a day after the huge win for the BJP, was not taken well by the ruling party top brass. Subhrangshu also said that he was not willing to snap ties with the Trinamool Congress, but questioned whether the party still trusted him. “As a member and MLA of the Trinamool Congress, I tried my best to give my party lead in my area, but I failed. My father won. He alone has succeeded in devastating the Trinamool Congress,” Subhrangshu Roy said.
