Former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, will be conferred with an honorary D.Litt by Kalyani University. The University will also confer honorary D.Litt to singer, composer, musician Kabir Suman. Suman has also been a Member of Parliament from Jadavpur constituency, representing the Trinamool Congress.
The event will take place on November 1 in presence of Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi, the University’s Chancellor, Kalyani University authorities said.
