With Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Saurav Ganguly hospitalised on Saturday morning at Woodlands Hospital, wishes and prayers poured in all across the country and beyond, wishing him speedy recovery.
Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli tweeted, “Praying for your speedy recovery. Get well soon”. Coach of the Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri, tweeted: “Wishing speedy recovery to @SGanguly99. My thoughts are with his family and fans at this hour. Hope to see him back soon.” Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag tweeted: “Dada, jaldi se theek hone ka. Praying for your quick and speedy recovery @SGanguly99”.
West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee was among the first to tweet on Ganguly and wrote that the BCCI president had suffered a “mild cardiac arrest”. She wished him a speedy recovery.
