Khanapara Teer results 17.2.2021: Numbers Live Update of 3:45 PM and 4:15 PM

Khanapara Teer – as the name indicates – is an “archery-based” lottery based on a prediction of some digits. This one is conducted by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association, a group of 12 archery clubs from Shillong. Every day, 50 archers shoot 30 arrows each at 3:45 PM and 20 arrows are shot in the second round at 4:15 PM.

Guidelines for the playing of Khanapara Teer

The guidelines for the Assam Teer betting amusements are very simple. All that a player has to do is to predict the last two digits of the complete number of arrows that hit the target. That’s all that is required to win a big amount of money. For example, on the off chance that 1,267 arrows hit the target, the winning numbers for the lottery will be 6 and 7, the last two digits of the number.

A large number of authorized Teer Betting counters operate from across the state. Tickets are sold from 10 AM to 3.30 PM. Players bet their numbers from 0 to 99. At exactly 3.30 PM, the archery session starts, and archers start shooting arrows at the target. It is played every day except on Sundays.

While the first-round results are announced at 3: 45 PM, the second round is announced at 4.15 PM. A player can win Rs 80 for every Re 1 s/he has betted on a number in the first round and Rs 60 for every Re 1 s/he has spent on the second round. If any player can predict the number of both the first and second round, it is called “forecast” (since it involves four numbers and it’s a play on the word “forecast”), then the winning amount can be way higher – it can be a whopping Rs 4,000 for every Re 1 bet.

How the archers play & what it looks like

The number of arrows shot should not be less than 30 and more than 50 and the total number of arrows per round should be between 700 to 2,000.

The target – usually resembling the ones used in archery among the Khasis and Jaintias – are of the size between 61cm to 102cm high and 66cm to 127cm in circumference. The distance between shooters and the target is not less than 15.21m and over 30.48m. The time within which all shooters must finish one round of shooting should not be more than five minutes.

Conventionally played & the legal aspects

Examples of such archery-based betting games include Assam Teer, Juwai Teer, etc. Archery is common in states of India’s Northeast and is popular among the conventional games played by the Khasi group in Meghalaya. In fact, till the mid-1980s, this archery or Teer-games were banned by the state government. However, it got legalized in 1982 as the state realised that it could be a source of income for many. It is currently under control and supervision under the Meghalaya Amusements and Betting Tax (Amendment) Act 1982.

In fact, as recently as in 2018, the Meghalaya Assembly passed the Meghalaya Regulation of the Game Arrow Shooting and the sale of Teer tickets Bill, 2018 in order to regulate the game and sale of these tickets.
