Two leopards spotted near Kurseong circuit house where Mamata Banerjee stayed during north Bengal visit

Two leopards were spotted at night near the circuit house in Kurseong where West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee stayed during her north Bengal visit.

Banerjee was on a five-day visit to north Bengal from October 21-25. She checked into the circuit house on Tuesday night. The circuit house is located in the forest adjacent to the Giddha hills of Kurseong.

Commandos of Special security wing had started their routine strolls in the area after the CM reached there. During the strolls, something caught the eye of commandos in the forest. It was later found to be two leopards which were walking around in the area not very far from the circuit house. One of them disappeared as soon as they saw the lights from torches, while the other sat there for a while.

After a little while, the second leopard too disappeared into the forest. The photo has become viral in news channels and social media.
