There were 624 new cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) reported in West Bengal on Monday, June 29 – the highest reported on a single day so far.
The last four days have seen the highest increase of cases with 1,635 new cases reported in the state in just three days from June 26 to 28. With 624 new cases reported on Monday, the total number of new cases in the last four days has gone up to 2,259. However, with 526 persons discharged in the last 24 hours, the discharge rate has improved again, it has gone up from 64.76 per cent to 65.44 per cent in just one day.
