Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Tuesday held a roadshow in Tripura’s Agartala ahead of the byelections in the state on June 23. He is scheduled to hold a public meeting later in the day. Byelections are to be held in four Assembly seats in the state.

Banerjee is also scheduled to hold another roadshow in the state on June 20. A list of 27 star campaigners has been submitted by the Trinamool Congress before the Election Commission, said party’s in-charge in the state, Rajib Banerjee. Leaders Sushmita Deb, Saayoni Ghosh have already been campaigning in the state.
