Amit Shah’s 2-day Kolkata programme cancelled for now

Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s two-day programme in Kolkata on March 2 and 3 have been cancelled for now. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) authorities said that the programme is being postponed. The exact reason for cancellation for the programme is not known yet.

For now, the BJP will focus on its next big programme — its rally in Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground on March 7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the main speaker at the rally. The party hopes to draw a lot of attention and people through this programme.

Shah’s roadshows in Kolkata were scheduled from Talah to Chowringhee on Tuesday and in south Kolkata upto Rabindra Sadan on Wednesday. However, as of now, Shah will not be visiting the city for these twin rallies.
