Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh tests positive for COVID-19, admitted to hospital

West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh has tested positive for COVID-19, and has been admitted to a private hospital in Salt Lake, in north-eastern fringes of Kolkata.

He was having mild fever for the past few days and got himself tested. The report came on Friday and he was admitted to the hospital. Ghosh has remained home for the past few days and cancelled his official programmes leading to speculations that he was unwell. However, sources said that he had mild fever and thus did not interact with people deliberately. He has been available over phone and has been working from home.

However, after the COVID report came positive, and he since he wasn’t feeling well, he was admitted to the hospital. His condition is stable, sources said.
