Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Hooghly’s Chinsurah — Locket Chatterjee — on Monday campaigned on a boat — travelling from Chinsurah to Dunlop ghat. She is MP from Hooghly Lok Sabha constituency.

Some days back, Chatterjee had campaigned on a bullock cart. She promised to improve the condition of the ghats.

Local Trinamool Congress workers said that Locket Chatterjee was a focusing on a “show” rather than a campaign and these sort of campaigns were being planned to draw attention of people.
