Financial data rankings show SpaceX joining the top six largest global enterprises.

The Bengal Story Bureau: Aerospace major SpaceX has officially secured a spot among the top six largest companies globally by market capitalization. According to the latest market data released by Yahoo Finance on June 16, 2026, the Elon Musk-led private space exploration firm has reached a valuation that positions it alongside the world’s most prominent technology conglomerates.

The company’s market cap has grown to an estimated 2.641 trillion dollars, placing it right behind e-commerce and cloud computing giant Amazon. This valuation milestone underscores the rapidly increasing commercial value of satellite internet constellations and private aerospace launch infrastructure.

Global Market Cap Standings

The updated global corporate standings reveal a major reshuffle at the top tier of corporate valuations. Artificial intelligence chipmaker Nvidia leads the global market with a historic valuation of 5 trillion dollars. Alphabet, the parent company of Google, holds the second position at 4.5 trillion dollars, followed closely by consumer electronics giant Apple at 4.395 trillion dollars.

The lower half of the top tier includes software pioneer Microsoft at 2.925 trillion dollars, with Amazon occupying the fifth spot at 2.646 trillion dollars. SpaceX now secures the sixth position, trailing Amazon by a narrow margin of just 5 billion dollars.

Tech and Aerospace Dominance

The latest data highlights the overwhelming dominance of technology and infrastructure platforms in driving global market valuations. The presence of Nvidia and Alphabet at the top reflects the massive capital inflows into artificial intelligence development over the past year.

Unlike the other public corporations in the top six list, SpaceX has achieved its massive valuation scale as a privately held entity. The firm’s valuation has been propelled by consecutive successful fundraising rounds, a dominant position in the global satellite launch market, and the steady expansion of its Starlink satellite broadband subsidiary.
