Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officers on Friday went to the house of magician PC Sorcar Junior’s house in Kolkata’s Mukundapur, in connection with a chit fund probe case. Officials said that Sorcar was a brand ambassador of the Tower group of companies, and he was being questioned about funds he had received from the company in this regard. The documents in this connection are being checked by investigators.

There were 10 officers in the CBI team that reached his house at around 1 p.m. Sorcar and one of his daughters was present in the house at that time. The officers spoke with them and looked at the documents in detail.
