COVID-19: Discharge rate in Bengal reaches 90.34%, 4,431 discharged on a single day

The discharge rate of COVID-19 patients in West Bengal reached 90.34 per cent on Thursday. Altogether 4,431 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state on a single day.

Currently, there are 32,836 COVID-19 patients – categorised as “active cases” in the state – and in the last 24 hours, the number has dropped by 608. So far, 7,452 persons have died from coronavirus in Bengal, including 49 persons in the past one day. The number of new cases in Bengal in the last one day has been 3,872, and 44,131 tests were conducted during this time. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state till Thursday was 4,16,984.
