Madhyamik & Higher Secondary exams 2022 dates announced
Exams to be held in March and April 2022.
Madhyamik and Higher Secondary (Uchcha Madhyamik) examinations, 2022, for classes 10 and 12 have been announced by the respective boards in Bengal today.
The Madhyamik examination will start from March 7 and end on March 16, 2022. The Higher Secondary exams will start from April 2 and end on April 20, 2022. Practical examinations for Higher Secondary will continue from February 15 and continue till March 4.
Examinations for Higher Secondary will be held at home centres – in the respective schools – as precaution in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, so that students do not need to travel for longer distances. There are 6,723 schools that will act as home centres for Higher Secondary. For Madhyamik, there are 9,991 schools involved, and it may not be possible to have home centres in all these schools, and accordingly arrangements will be made for students to sit for their exams in adjoining schools. Maintaining COVID-19 protocols is most essential, officials said.
