Milind Soman “flying” between Kanchenjunga & Mt Everest in Bengal’s Phalut

Actor and model Milind Soman has been having a great time trekking with fitness enthusiast wife Ankita in West Bengal’s Sandakphu. Sandakphu if the highest peak in West Bengal. On reaching his destination after walking 21-km, Milind Soman shared a picture of himself “flying”, he wrote on his social media accounts: “Sunrise closer to heaven! The view from Phalut has to be seen to be believed. The Kanchenjunga range on one side and Mt Everest on the other!”

Phalut is the second highest peak of West Bengal, part of the Singalila Range of the Himalayas. It is located at the border of West Bengal, Sikkim and Nepal.

He wrote on his account: “After a hilly and seemingly unending 21 km trek from Sandakphu, the highest point in West Bengal at almost 12000 ft, you will be greeted with a landscape, a sunrise and sunset too spectacular to ever forget. You might even feel like you are flying.”

Earlier, Milind Soman and wife Ankita Konwar checked in at Kala Pokhri from where they shared pictures dressed up like locals. “Selfie time on the route to Sandakphu! 10,000 feet,” wrote Milind Soman from his Instagram account. His wife Ankita also shared their picture together, writing: “Tashi Delek! 10,000 feet and warmth intact”.

Milind Soman also expressed his happiness saying, “Blue like no other! The most beautiful skies, the most beautiful mountains, the most beautiful people on the route to Sandakphu and Phalut, so happy to be back in the mountains again, love, love, love! Today’s stop – Kala Pokhri.”

The couple also shared their happiness about the climb and the fact that “Nothing can beat the food in the hills, so simple, so local and so delicious!”
