Partha Chatterjee & Arpita Mukherjee judicial custody ends, hearing today

The minister and his aide are in custody for over a month.

The judicial custody of former West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee and his close aide Arpita Mukherjee ends today. A virtual court hearing has been scheduled today.

This comes after the minister has been in custody for over a month over a teachers’ job scam case in which he is an accused. Mukherjee was taken into custody after over Rs 50 crore was recovered in cash from her two flats.
