West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee today inaugurated the 45th Kolkata International Book Fair at Salt Lake Central Park today.
She said that the Central Park, which has been used as a venue for the annual Book Fair event for the past few years, will henceforth be a permanent venue for the fair and will be named after it, so that it gets identified with the event.
Bangladesh is the theme country this year. The Kolkata International Book Fair, which was inaugurated today, will continue till March 13, 2022.
