*Shiv Sena (which expressed disgruntlement about certain aspects of the bill), whose leader Udhav Thackarey is the chief minister of Maharashtra

*Janata Dal (United) helmed by Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar

*Biju Janata Dal helmed by Naveen Patnaik who is the current chief minister of Odisha

*Lok Janshakti Party, led by Ram Vilas Paswan

*YSRCP or the YSR Congress party (YSR being an acronym for Yuvajana Sramika Rythu) led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who is the current chief minister of Andhra Pradesh

*Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) led by Ajit Singh, whose presence is most in western Uttar Pradesh

*AIADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) is a regional political party in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It is currently in power in Tamil Nadu

*NCP: Nationalist Congress Party is led by Sharad Pawar. It is part of the alliance government in Maharashtra where Congress and Shiv Sena are the other constituents

*BSP: Bahujan Samaj Party was formed to represent Bahujans, the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Castes, along with religious minorities. Their presence in mainly in Uttar Pradesh and is led by Mayawati.
