Woman & teenage son found murdered in Kolkata, killers known to victims?
The woman's husband & the child's tutor are being questioned.
A school teacher and her 14-year-old son were found murdered in Kolkata on Monday. Their bodies were found by her husband in their flat in Behala’s Parnashree area.
When he returned from work, the man found the door open. The body of the 14-year-old boy was found on the bed, in a pool of blood. He was wearing his school uniform with a tie around his neck. The woman’s body was found on the floor.
They were possibly hacked to death with a kitchen chopper with perhaps more than one person involved in the killings. The husband and the child’s tutor are being questioned. The tutor had visited the house at around 5 pm, but apparently left on finding the door shut. The neighbours have told police that they did not hear or see anything to raise any suspicion. According to police, the killer/s may have been known to the victims and the door was opened for that.
A probe has been started by the police and all possible angles are being checked.
