BJP will win 50 plus seats in first 2 phases of Bengal election: Amit Shah
He addressed 2 rallies in Bengal today.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday claimed and predicted that Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will lose from Nandigram. He also claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get more than 50 seats out of the 60 polled in the first two phases so far. He did two rallies in north and south Bengal today, one in Cooch Behar, the other in South 24 Parganas.
Shah said that Banerjee had done injustice to the Rajbanshi community and the people of north Bengal. “Didi has never bothered to develop the health infrastructure and connectivity in the area,” said Shah. Talking of infiltration across the border, Shah said, “Nishith Pramanik, the local MP, comes to me often requesting to stop infiltration. We will stop infiltration across borders.”
He did a roadshow in South 24 Parganas, parts of which goes to the polls in the third phase. Election in Cooch Behar is scheduled in the fourth phase.
