Trinamool hoardings vandalised in Goa ahead of Mamata Banerjee’s visit

Trinamool Congress hoardings were found vandalised in Goa ahead of party chief Mamata Banerjee’s visit to the state on October 28. Several posters and hoardings containing Banerjee’s pictures were found torn. Trinamool leaders have alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is behind it.

Trinamool MP Derek O’Brien took to Twitter to write: “COWARDS. BJP defaces all communication featuring @MamataOfficial across Goa days before her visit. They miss the point. Contracts state that liability from such damage is the vendors, who are fellow Goans. Why hurt Goemkar enterprise? This State deserves better #GoenchiNaviSakal

Trinamool Congress is bringing the matter to the notice of the state’s Governor.
