With 270 million users, Facebook accounts for highest users in India. To attract its biggest market, the social networking site has announced new features that include sharing audio post, saving the Facebook “stories” and videos and maintaining an archive to keep users’ stories for the future.
According to Facebook, users can save photos and videos that are captured through the Facebook camera without exhausting the space of their phones. Currently, Facebook stories disappear after 24 hours but once the new feature is added, users can see their stories whenever they want and can share it. Currently the new update will only be available on Facebook app for android phones.
Also, users can share voice posts without adding any photo or video to it. But audio post duration on Facebook stories would not exceed a 20-seconds mark. However, there are no restrictions in voice post shared to news feed, as it would depend on the local storage of the users’ device. This feature will only be available on FBLite.
