On World Bicycle Day, here is a list of people who enjoy their bicycle rides a lot!
Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands
He rides the bicycle to his office and uses bicycles even during state visits. In 2013, he was seen riding the bicycle on a visit to Israel. In July 2017, he presented India Prime Minister Narendra Modi a bicycle on latter’s visit to the Netherlands.

Amartya Sen, Nobel Laureate

Sen has always used bicycles in Shantiniketan. In fact,  he has donated his bicycle to Nobel museum, a museum that has personal belongings of Nobel laureates on display.

Karam Shyam, minister of Manipur 
Manipur’s consumer affairs, food and public distribution minister Karam Shyam Singh rides bicycle to reach his office every Thursday. He has taken this up in order to save fuel, hoping this would inspire others.

Manish Sisodia, deputy chief minister of Delhi
He used to reach his office on bicycle during the enactment of odd-even rules in Delhi in January 2016. The rules aimed to curb pollution in India’s capital allowed odd-numbers vehicles on odd-days and even-number vehicles on even-days. The minister who had an odd-number car, used to cycle to his office every alternate day.

Ramakrishnan cycles his way to his research lab and takes long cycling trips.
