The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) wants to continue with their meeting with Kolkata Police commissioner Rajeev Kumar on Sunday, according to a news report.
Kumar faced the CBI officers at Shillong in connection with the investigation of the Saradha chit fund scam. According to an ANI report, “the CBI will continue questioning the Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar at the CBI office here on Sunday”.
This comes after the Supreme Court directive that he cannot be arrested and asked him to cooperate with the probe and to meet the CBI officers at a ‘neutral’ location as requested by him.
