Among the megacities, Delhi is the most polluted, while Mumbai is fourth. Kolkata does not figure in this list, but its PM 2.5 count is twice more than the permissible limit of 60micrograms/m3 – which too is rather high and worrying. Kanpur, Faridabad, Gaya, Patna, Muzaffarnagar, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Patiala, Lucknow, Varanasi, Gurgaon are all part of this list of 14.
