Here’s the final list of containment areas under lockdown in West Bengal from 5 pm, July 9

A sudden hike in the number of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases has led the West Bengal government impose fresh lockdown in the containment and buffer zones of the state. Without going into the details of the containment and buffer zones, the state government has been identifying these as “affected areas” that will come under the lockdown rules.

The stricture is being imposed from July 9 at 5pm. The West Bengal government had released the list for Kolkata, North 24 Parganas and Howrah on Wednesday. The lists for some of the remaining districts have been now released and some are waiting to be uploaded. [We will keep updating this list as soon as the lists are released by the state government.]
