People across India — from Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad — protested the brutal attack by goons on students of Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi on Sunday evening. At least 23 students and some teachers were injured in the attack as goons entered with their faces covered, lathis and rods in hand entered the campus and went on a rampage. JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh was herself hit on the head. Videos shot on mobile camera show how people with faces covered went on a rampage inside the campus.
The protests were taken out since Sunday evening and on Monday. Some protests are scheduled on Tuesday.
