The air strike follows two weeks after the terror attack in Kashmir’s Pulwama – on February 14 – in which over 40 jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed when a suicide bomber of the Jaish-e-Mohammed exploded a car loaded with bombs next to a convoy of the Indian paramilitary force. Later, the group claimed responsibility of the attack.
