Mamata Banerjee on 3-day visit to north Bengal
She will be in Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri for administrative & party meetings.
West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee is visiting north Bengal on a three-day visit starting today. After completing her tour of Purulia and Bankura, Banerjee had returned to Kolkata on June 1. She was in Singur on June 3, and after that she is heading to north Bengal for a brief tour.
She will be in Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar districts for this trip in which she will hold administrative review meetings and public meetings too. On June 7, she will be in Alipurduar Parade Ground where she will hold a meeting with booth workers, where she will also meet Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri district leaders and workers of her party. She also has administrative meetings scheduled. State panchayat minister Pulak Roy had visited these two districts prior to the CM’s visit. On June 8, Banerjee is scheduled to be part of a government programme in Hashimara.
