An 18-year-old boy who was the “admin” of a group on WhatsApp was stabbed in Mumbaii’s Ahmednagar by three persons for allegedly removing one of the members from that group.
The victim Chaitanya Shivaji Bhor was a student of an agriculture college at Ahmednagar, Mumbai and had earlier created a WhatsApp group for the college students. Recently Bhor removed Sachin Gadakh from the group after Gadakh had left the college. However, Gadakh took this as an “insult” and wanted to take revenge.
According to police, while Bhor was having his meal at an eatery on May 17, Gadakh and two others stabbed Bhor with a sharp weapon. Bhor was admitted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries on stomach, mouth and back. He was later moved to Pune.
Although three person allegedly attacked Bhot, he lodged a complaint against four persons including Sachin Gadakh and Amol Gadakh under section 307 of IPC.
