Top court judges to attend Kerala relief event, Justice KM Joseph to sing
The judges of the Supreme Court of India have shown commendable human empathy and compassion towards the cause of providing relief to the flood devastated southern state of Kerala. After taking individual initiatives in contributing to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund, a number of judges will now volunteer humanitarian services of a slightly different nature at a function.
Justice KM Joseph shall be singing two songs at the event – one each in Malayalam and Hindi, it was reported by NDTV. Chief Justice of India Justice Dipak Misra will be the chief guest at the event. The function, being organised by journalists covering the top court, would be the first in recent memory witnessing a judge perform. Playback singer Mohit Chauhan shall also perform at the event.
To be held at the auditorium of Indian Society for International Law in New Delhi, the function will have budding classical dancers like Keertana Harish. Journalist Bhadra Singh will deliver a Bharatnatyam performance at the function.
