Trinamool Congress MP and Bengali film actor Nusrat Jahan was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital on Sunday night following respiratory distress. She was released on Monday evening.
However, there were “rumours” throughout Monday on the reason for her admission to the hospital, which was stated to be drug overdose. This however, was dismissed by those close to her.
Nusrat Jahan was taken to the hospital with breathing problem and according to those close to her who were quoted by various reports, she has breathing problems and uses inhaler. But it did not seem to work on Sunday for which she had to be taken to the hospital. On Sunday, the couple celebrated her husband Nikhil Jain’s birthday, and she posted photographs of the celebration on social media.
