West Bengal Higher Secondary results announced, Adisha Debsharma tops with 99.6%
272 students are in the top ten.
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) announced the results of class 12 or higher secondary today at 11 am. Adisha Debsharma of Cooch Behar district topped the examination. She scored 99.6% or 498 marks. Sayandeep Samanta from West Midnapore stood second with 99.4% or 497 marks. Rohin Sen from Kolkata, Sohom Das from Hooghly, Abhik Das from Purba Burdwan and Parichay Pari from West Midnapore stood third with 99.2% or 496 marks each.
The overall pass percentage is 88.44 per cent. The examinations were held from April 2 to April 26. Over seven lakh students appeared for the examination – 7,20,862 students had appeared for the exams. Though the exams were held offline, classes for these students were mostly held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
