India recorded 7,584 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, to reach 4,32,05,106 cases, according to Union Health Ministry data. There have been 24 deaths in the past 24 hours. The number of deaths increased to 5,24,747.
The number of active cases increased by 3,769 to 36,267. The recovery rate was recorded at 98.7 per cent. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.26 per cent. The total number of COVID vaccine doses in the country is now over 194.76 crore.
