Shah Rukh Khan’s son cleared in drug case for “lack of sufficient evidence”

Aryan Khan was picked up by the NCB during an alleged drug haul.

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son Aryan was today cleared by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drugs haul case for which he was picked up by the agency officials in October 2021.

The NCB filed a 6,000-page chargesheet naming 14 persons as accused, but Aryan Khan was not named in it. The drugs haul took place in October last year during a raid on a cruise ship off Mumbai. Aryan Khan was among the 20 people arrested during the drugs haul. The NCB however, could not find sufficient evidence against Aryan and five others.

He was in jail for over three weeks after being picked up during the raid. The charges against him were denied by the superstar’s son.
