Mamata Banerjee to call on PM Modi on Wednesday

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will be in New Delhi on Tuesday. She will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 4.30 pm on Wednesday. The CM’s office had sought appointment with the Prime Minister and the meeting has been finalised for Wednesday, it was learnt.

Banerjee will hold talks with the PM on the ongoing Central government projects in Bengal.

She will also hold talks with several senior political leaders during the visit. However, the details of these meetings were not yet clear, and not all of these meetings have been finalised yet, it was learnt. Banerjee will be in the capital for three days, and has planned her return on September 20.
