Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mukul Roy has been summoned by the Kolkata Police authorities today. He was asked to be present in the office of the assistant commissioner’s office in Behala this afternoon.
He is to be questioned in connection with a first information report filed against him for allegedly duping some individuals promising them jobs in the railways. An investigation is on in the case and Roy’s version is to be probed by the Kolkata Police authorities, and he has been asked to be present for questioning.
The details are still awaited, and Roy’s stand on this is not yet known.
