Former BJP Bengal chief Dilip Ghosh was made into a “helpless pawn”: Tathagata Roy

Roy wrote on the "BJP's suicide in West Bengal".

Former governor of Tripura and Meghalaya Tathagata Roy has said that former Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party chief Dilip Ghosh was made into a “helpless pawn” by the Central leaders of the party posted in the state ahead of the Assembly polls earlier this year.

Roy himself was the state’s BJP chief earlier. Recently, Dilip Ghosh has been replaced by Sukanta Majumdar in the state. Tathagata Roy also wrote that he was sympathising more and more with Ghosh as matters were coming to light.

On Saturday, Roy took to Twitter today to write: “As more facts come to my knowledge, I find myself commiserating with @DilipGhoshBJP. He had been turned into a helpless pawn by central leaders posted here (henceforth KSA team). Dilip practically said so. The total story of BJP’s suicide in W Bengal is gradually coming to light.”

Though he did not elaborate, KSA is being seen by some BJP leaders as implying Kailash Vijayvarghiya, Shiv Prakash and Arvind Menon.
