Ninety–five seats in 11 states and one union territory are going to the polls for the second phase tomorrow, Thursday April 18.

The states that are going to polls in Phase II are Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Puducherry.

In the first phase, on April 11, there was a 69.43% turnout.

Elections are taking place in seven phases in the country – on April 11, 18, 23, 29, May 6, 12 and 19. The counting will take place on May 23, with the results announced on the same day.

In West Bengal, elections will be held in three seats – Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and Raigunj.
