A 50-year-old woman was gangraped and murdered on Sunday night in the Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. Three persons, including a priest, are said to be behind the attack. The two other persons are reportedly his disciples. Two men have been arrested and a case registered.
The woman’s photographs have emerged showing the gruesome killing. Her body was apparently dropped at the door of her house.
It was reported that the woman went regularly to offer prayers at the place of worship, and had left home on Sunday evening only to be brought back dead at around 11.30 pm.

The police tweeted to say that a case of gangrape and murder had been registered, and two persons had been arrested.
