It has brought a sigh of relief.

COVID-19 affected Kolkata teenager’s parents, driver test negative
The senior bureaucrat of the West Bengal Home department, whose son had tested positive for Novel Coronavirus, has tested negative for the virus, bringing a sigh of relief. The official’s husband and driver have also tested negative.
On Tuesday, the teenager, who had returned from London on March 15, had tested positive, sending the government on a tizzy, because the family had not followed the mandatory quarantine strictures after the 18 year old had returned from London. The bureaucrat had taken her to the state administrative headquarters, Nabanna, though the teenager was sitting in the vehicle. She hadn’t informed her seniors and had even held a meeting with home secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay, who had to go on a precautionary quarantine.
The state government has been tracking down all those who had travelled with the teenager as well as others who may have come in contact with him.
However, now that the test reports are negative, it has brought a huge relief for the administration as it reduces the possibility of more persons getting affected. The administration has been asking people to not panic.
