The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams between March 19 to March 31 was suspended by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) Board on Thursday under the backdrop of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in the country. The number of COVID-19 patients in the country currently stands at 151.
New dates will be announced in due course of time, the notification on Board’s website said.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had postponed all its exams between March 19 to March 31.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) mains was also cancelled by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday. The National Institute of Open Studies (NIOS) postponed all its exams too on Wednesday after instruction from Home Ministry.
