Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted a video of his morning exercise and passed on a fitness challenge to Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy along with Indian Police Service (IPS) officers especially those over 40, and Commonwealth medallist Manika Batra.
Responding to the PM’s fitness challenge, Kumaraswamy replied on Twitter that he was more concerned about “development fitness of my state” and sought the PM’s support for it. The Karnataka CM added that yoga and treadmill were part of his regular workout regime.

Earlier, India cricket team captain Virat Kohli had nominated the Prime Minister as a part of union sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign on Twitter.
