Ahead of International Yoga Day on June 21, Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel has directed all universities and colleges in the state to send photographs and videos of students doing Yoga to the Raj Bhavan Secretariat as “proof”.
On June 6, Patel, in a circular, ordered every university and college to ensure maximum participation of students and teachers in a day-long programme observing the International Yoga Day. She also instructed them to send photographs, CDs of the event along with the number of participants.
Later, on June 12, Patel ordered that the “evidence” should reach by 4 pm in her office on June 21.
